#12 How to Build a Home Business ~ Pattern Interrupt
THE PATTERN INTERRUPT TECHNIQUE
HOW can you have a better attitude
if you gravitate toward negative thoughts?
Try this for a week…or 21 days to make it a habit:
Put a rubber band around your wrist.
Every time you have a negative thought, snap it.
OUCH !!
This will interrupt your negative thought pattern.
Now that’s not enough.
I want you to take that negative thought and ask 3 questions:
1. Is it really true?
2. Will it hurt anyone?
3. Does it serve your best interests?
If that negative thought was not true, was hurtful or did not serve you well, I want you to ERASE IT and REPLACE IT with the truth, with a positive statement. After a while, whenever you have that same negative thought, you will automatically say…hmmm I know that isn’t really true – you will think of the POSITIVE TRUTH instead until your thoughts will become positive.
