The Pivotal Point
The Journey to Leadership
I’ve heard a lot of leaders relate their stories of their journey
from struggling to make ends meet – to success.
I discovered that they have all followed the same general path…
Just as a baby has to crawl before it can walk,
everyone goes through the same growth cycle.
It’s a law of nature.
We plant, cultivate, give it TIME to grow strong,
and THEN we harvest, reap the results.
Most people just want to plant and harvest.
It doesn’t work like that!
They say it takes 10,000 hours to MASTER a subject.
There’s a lot to learn when you come online and decide
to create a lucrative business.
We have to take the TIME to learn, implement it and then teach it!
There is a pivotal point in each of their stories of success..
.. A moment in time… when they have had ENOUGH.
For years they may have been saying things like,
“I’m sick and tired of these bills.”
“Something’s got to change.”
But this time it’s different.
Every fiber of their being is involved.
They can FEEL it DEEP INSIDE THEM this time when they
adamantly say:
“I DECIDED I would never ever have to worry about bills again.”
Another leader said her pivotal moment, when everything
changed for her, was when she declared:
“I DECIDED to step up into the role of Leadership.”
Yes. Here’s the KEY.
You have to DECIDE to make the change.

It isn’t just a statement like you’ve been SAYING
for years! It comes from DEEP WITHIN you.
You WILL NOT put up with it any more.
You’re FED UP with things the way they ARE.
There’s a TIPPING POINT when the pain of where you are
outweighs what you have to do to get what you want.
The pain becomes too great to bear.
You experience a SHIFT in thinking.
At that moment, you go from
student to teacher,
from follower to leader.
I remember when I experienced this amazing SHIFT.
It was right after I got the validation and encouragement
I needed from a good friend and mentor.
He genuinely believed in me.
It was exactly what I needed to hear!
I could FEEL the change within me.
It was STRONG and POWERFUL!
It was an amazing Paradigm Shift!
Right after I hung up the phone, I took my notes from
various trainings out of many 3-ring binders, and
transferred them into “My Training Ideas” Notebook.
In that very moment
I went from Student to Teacher,
from Follower to Leader.
Of course I wasn’t going to stop learning!
Leaders are readers.
A constant supply of fresh training,
inspiration and new marketing tactics
will always be wise to stay on top of.
But now, instead of just learning and tucking
it all away, hiding it in my notebooks,
I would be creating videos, blog posts,
and webinars to HELP OTHERS.
I would be generating quality leads,
the RIGHT people who want what I have
to offer…
I’ll enjoy coaching them with all the
valuable training I’ve received.
I’ll continue creating my own content
with my own personality and spin on things.
Because after all, people join people,
not businesses!
It’s quite exhilarating!
So what’s in it for you?

The important point is that you
KEEP MOVING FORWARD
and don’t give up if you want to reach your goals.
… and once you gain the knowledge you need
about marketing and proper mindset you can
become a Great Leader and help others do the same.
