The marketing strategies and skills needed to run an Online Business is very similar to owning an OFFLINE business. Years ago, my husband and I owned and operated an Indian Jewelry / Gift Shop. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work!
You may have heard the expression, ‘treat your business like a business, not a hobby’ because this mind shift will help you do the proper things to make it a success. So, what does it take to have success online?
I think you will enjoy this short clip!
Tip #1: We need TRAFFIC!
Imagine for a moment, if I didn’t have any customers come into the store! Or what if I only had 2 a day come in, wander around, but buy nothing? No customers = No sales! The same is true ONLINE! How do we get our products and services in front of the people who WANT what we are offering? Or better yet, what method do we use to ATTRACT the customers, have them COME TO US?

Tip #2: What are you selling?
I’ve often heard of people talking about picking a niche. . . however, I have come to believe that it’s more important to find out what OTHER people want and need and then provide that for them.
“You cannot sell a steak to a vegetarian!” (Mike Dillard) LOL I love that quote!
So find out what everybody is looking for and fill the NEED!
I have found that there are 5 major niches that are hot today online:
A. How to make money online
B. Health and fitness / Anti-aging
C. Weight loss
D. Information
E. Investing
If you can show people the answer to their question, provide a solution for their problem, find the need and fill it, you will be able to make a lot of sales and help a lot of people!
I personally enjoy helping others learn how to make money online, especially with the economy in the state it’s in. So many people need this more than anything else right now. This is what I use because it is step-by-step and it’s affordable, the best training by TOP leaders in the industry! Take a look!
Tip #3: Stick With It – Stop JUMPING from program to program.
It’s easy to look at the road ahead and get completely overwhelmed. Most of the confusion is usually due to people jumping from one program to another. Most people ‘try something’ for a while, don’t give it enough time to grow and create momentum, and quit… even though they may have been ‘3 feet from the GOLD’, as Napoleon Hill says in “Think and Grow Rich”!
You need to carefully select what you want to promote and then STICK WITH IT.
Do not just “TRY something”. Be in it 100% and committed to it’s success.

Tip #4: STAY FOCUSED! I have found over the years of interviewing people that usually it’s not really what they’re learning that overwhelms them, it’s the number of programs they join. If you unplug from all the DISTRACTIONS out there, and FOCUS on learning one thing at a time, you will progress much faster.
Tip #5: Daily Consistent Action
The way to learn and progress to your end goal is to take ONE step at a time.
Remember: everyone moves through this process at their OWN pace.
1. Pick a marketing method that suits your personality.
2. Learn it well – Master it!
3. Add it to your Daily Schedule and check off each step DAILY.
