Are You Chasing Or Attracting?

Then I’d like to share my own personal experience with you
that may help you get to your goals faster.

In 1979 I owned an Indian Jewelry/Gift Shop and always loved
when people would come in, look around, and try on jewelry,
find what they loved and purchased it. It gave me great pleasure
to see them happy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I placed ads in the local paper and created local radio ads.
Word of mouth spread and soon the store was bustling with customers.

When I got into network marketing, however, I felt like I was chasing people.
My sponsor told me to make a list of everyone I know and when I run out of
friends and family, that I should buy leads and start cold-calling them!

Another method was to go to the mall and strike up conversations with strangers!
How awkward… Is that how businesses really work?

 

 

Is that where your perfect prospect hangs out?
Just because there are a large number of people
gathered in once place doesn’t necessarily mean
they WANT to buy your products or join you!

 

 

 

Maybe you’ve been told the same things. . .
Well, that never worked for me.

Something deep inside me told me that these methods were uncomfortable
for a reason! They just did not align with my personality. Selling things
you really are passionate about should be FUN and feel “right”…
people should LOVE talking with you about what you have and
what they’re looking for! It should feel GOOD.

How I WANTED people to COME TO ME, just like they did
when I had that Indian Jewelry/Gift shop. They already WANTED
what I was offering and came in, ready to buy if they saw something they liked.

Over the years, I’ve invested hundreds, no, thousands of dollars
in improving my skills and learning how to market online.
And you know what? The most valuable piece of information
that I learned in DECADES, since the early 90’s, is what I already KNEW!

Whether we have a brick and mortar store or an online business,
we need to be passionate about the products we are offering,
and we just need to let the people COME TO US…
the people who ALREADY WANT what we’re offering…

That brings us to the question:
How do we Get the Word Out so others know where we are
and what we have? How do we get in front of the RIGHT people?

 

How can we stop chasing the wrong people and
start 
ATTRACTING the right people TO US?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once we learn how to attract people who want what we have,
the rest just falls into place. It feels right and good. It becomes FUN!
